HAL Fund Services Ireland Limited (“HALFI”), a member company of the Hauck & Aufhäuser Fund Services Group (“HAFS Group”), has joined forces with J.P. Morgan to establish the ICAV investment platform for asset managers from the German-speaking countries (DACH region). The eNova Active Core EUR Ultra Short Term investment fund, ISIN IE000AKHLQ11, which was restructured in conjunction by a management buy-out, is now part of the ICAV platform under the liability umbrella of FIDUS Finanz AG.

With the fund the Active Core Asset Management GmbH provides a money market-related instrument that benefits from the company’s expertise in the money market-related bond sector and from the experience of portfolio manager Wilhelm Wildschütz. It prioritises bonds with near-term maturity, issued by governments or by particularly creditworthy institutions. The portfolio management team remains in place even under the new structure.

“With the ICAV platform, we are making a modern structure available to asset managers from German-speaking countries that enables them to efficiently implement their ETF strategies – on sound regulatory footing, operationally robust and internationally compatible. The investment funds of Active Core Asset Management GmbH exemplify how to implement forward-looking concepts by having experienced teams embed them in a scalable infrastructure,” said Lisa Backes, Deputy CEO of Hauck & Aufhäuser Fund Services S.A..

The platform is open to initiators who plan to implement innovative ETF strategies and are seeking a qualified partner toward this end.
