A key pillar of our commitment is the Hauck & Aufhäuser Cultural Foundation, in which we bundle our cultural activities. Founded in 2008, the foundation highlights outstanding achievements, in particular in the fields of art, music, literature, science, and education. In collaboration with other funding institutions and foundations, such as the Arche e.V. and the ZEIT Foundation, our focus is on fostering young creative talent, promoting diverse educational projects, and supporting social organizations.
Only he who dedicates his time in the present will also belong to the future.
Karl Ferdinand Gutzkow, 1811-1878, German novelist, playwright and journalist
An important concern of our bank is to leave its mark on society and cultural life together with our employees and customers.
The commitment of our bank to cultural and social projects is a deep-rooted element of the understanding we have of ourselves. Through the H&A Cultural Foundation we continue this tradition.
As private bankers, we bear a great responsibility for our clients' assets, but also for the present and future of our society. For this reason, cultural and social commitment has always been an important and fixed component of our self-image as private bankers.
A major role in our commitment is played by the Hauck & Aufhäuser Cultural Foundation founded in 2008. It supports non-profit projects in the fields of culture, science and education.
The Hauck & Aufhäuser Cultural Foundation is an independent foundation based in Frankfurt am Main. Funding decisions are made by a three-member foundation council.
We are a long-standing member of the Federal Association of German Foundations (“Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen”).

In addition to our cultural commitment, our bank has traditionally attached great importance to supporting social projects. We demonstrate this conviction through our continuing support for various charitable foundations, associations, and clubs. For a number of years, we have used the money that would normally have been spent on Christmas presents for our clients and employees to fund charitable projects throughout Germany, whereby we attach particular importance to supporting disadvantaged children and young people. This understanding of our social responsibility is also reflected in the commitment of our employees, who are regularly involved in charitable projects.
